Overview

ClipScript helps users save article content, organize projects, and generate creator-ready scripts. This policy explains the basic types of information ClipScript may use while the product is in beta.

Google Sign-In

ClipScript uses Google sign-in to identify your account and connect your projects to your user profile. We may receive basic account information such as your email address and Google user ID.

Firebase Cloud Storage

When cloud sync is enabled, ClipScript stores your projects, clipped article titles, article content, generated scripts, and related project data in Firebase under your signed-in user account.

Data Storage

ClipScript may store data locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage and, when signed in, in Firebase cloud storage. Local storage helps keep the extension usable even before cloud sync is available or if a cloud save fails.

AI-Generated Content

ClipScript sends selected article content to an AI service to generate scripts. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for some uses, so you should review and edit all output before publishing.

No Sale of Personal Data

ClipScript does not sell your personal data. We use account and project information to provide the product experience, including saving, syncing, and generating scripts.
